Tired of feeling crazy around food?

I offer individual support and insight for you to heal your relationship with food.

If you feel like you’ve tried everything, I offer a non-diet, weight-neutral approach to transform your relationship with food and your body.

Welcome to Health on Your Terms.

Hi, I’m Jayne Anne, and I work with women who struggle with binge eating and worry about food a lot. I help them take a huge mental weight off of their mind so they don’t have to think about their food and body all of the time.

I know you don't want food to consume every waking thought. Being present in your body, your life, and your purpose matter to you. You've done a lot of inner healing work already, and you're ready to take this next step to not have drama with food draining your attention or energy anymore.

Does this sound like you?

✦ You hate that comfort eating seems like the most "convenient" or easy way to soothe yourself (and you very well know it's very temporary relief when it even achieves that...)

✦ You think about food a LOT - when you’re going to eat next or what you just ate and judge yourself for if it was healthy or not.

✦ You have fear/anxiety around eating certain foods (like gluten or dairy), or eating “too much” of them.

✦ You want to lose weight or change your size or shape, or you’re terrified of gaining weight - you wish this could be effortless.

✦ You realize how much time, energy, and money you’ve spent struggling with your eating and body, and you’re questioning how much focus you want to put into trying to continue to eat and exercise to lose weight.

✦ You’ve noticed how your relationship with food affects your social life, causing you to avoid events sometimes or carry food with you.

I’ve been there, too.

As a reformed dieter and “food as medicine” zealot, I’ve struggled with all of these same things. I’ve even been a part of the “solutions” that suggest that if you just follow their exact plan, you will lose weight and cure all of your chronic conditions through diet and lifestyle.

Giving away our power to external authorities in exchange for feeling safe and giving you the result you want of “looking the part” of a healthy and thin woman actually feels POWERFUL at first. But it’s not really your power, it’s only power society lends you, conditionally, by meeting the culturally thin ideal. And it’s unsustainable, too.

Taking back my own power has been an inner journey of healing, challenging my unexamined thoughts and beliefs to decide whether a belief serves me or not, and an ongoing process of tuning into my body’s physical knowing, truth, and intuition to be my compass along the way.

I can help you find the same.

If you want to stop emotional or binge eating to uncover the underlying causes for you specifically and begin to build a better, more satisfying, and even joyful relationship with food, let’s work together 1:1.

“You opened a door for me, and I would not have gone through that door had it not been for you. I have a better awareness of my body now. And I have the words I didn't have before to calm the inner critic. It feels possible for me to move forward now.”
